We Recommend...

We have ten Crest Ridge Saddles that we use daily. They take the time to ensure the saddle fits before they sell you the saddle! The quality and value are excellent. We find that these saddles, properly fitted, improve the gaits on our fox trotters. The materials and quality of construction are first rate! Crest Ridge offers saddles built on 20+ different trees to properly fit gaited horses of varying shapes. Proper saddle fit, not pads and shims, will help you get the most out of your gaited horse.

One of the best Missouri Fox Trotter sites on the internet!

Our preferred source for information on equine health.

The Meyer’s have some absolutely wonderful foxtrotters, including some of the best roans and duns (Grullos) in the breed. Jenny is also a driving force behind the Global Foxtrotter Promotion Group, volunteering her time and energy to promote the Missouri Foxtrotter.

We are looking forward to breeding large heart saddlebred mares to outstanding gaited horse stallions in the future with the goal of producing exceptional smooth gaited endurance horses.

Alma DeMille, a trainer in Utah, has placed several articles and videos on his web site Color Country Fox Trotters that you might find useful in understanding the various gaits of fox trotters. We’ve met Alma and are very impressed with what he is doing in producing tail horses. His web site also features videos of Hydro’s Pawnee Bill that we sold.
